Varian LINAC Installation Engineer
Varian LINAC Installation Engineer, supporting TrueBeam systems across the U.S.
This is a full-time, permanent role with an established medical technology service organisation that partners with radiation oncology centres nationwide. The focus is on delivering high-quality installation and lifecycle support for advanced treatment systems.
Key details
Location: Nationwide, U.S. (travel required most weeks)
Focus: Installation and commissioning of Varian TrueBeam LINACs
PTO: “Unlimited PTO” structure, with a realistic expectation of 6 - 8 weeks off per year based on the install schedule
In this role, you would lead installs end-to-end, coordinating site readiness, executing installations to OEM and safety standards, and supporting handover into clinical use.
What we’re looking for
3+ years of hands-on LINAC installation experience
3+ years specifically installing Varian TrueBeam systems
Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently in a high-travel environment
The ideal profile is someone who is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and confident working directly with customers on-site.
